I click on the link and in this case, I found your link on the We Do Follow list, and found a post title that appealed to me. I like following simialr interests, people I can relate to, i.e, other moms, other crafters, etc. I'm new to blogging, but I'm enjoying it so far! The second one is my favorite because I like to always try to reciprocate a comment for a comment. I'll be honest and say that sometimes I end up at a blog that just make me go "Ummm, how to you say something nice here?" but that is very rare. What catches my attention on a blog is usually the layout or header and I think that's because of my Adult ADD. You know "shiny object syndrome" gets me everytime. So if someone has something interesting to look at then I will usually read a few posts. I also try to keep my links updated because dead links are irritating. I read about 140 blogs (seriously!? yeah, too many I know) via GoogleReader, add and delete as I see fit. If I find something I really like, I roam through the archives most of the time.
