Comments on Blogger

Do you ever go to leave a comment for someone, and then realize they don’t allow what they call “Anonymous Comments”? It drives me nuts. Sometimes I really want to leave a comment, but I don’t want to be signed into my blogger account. My blogger account is not associated with this blog at all, so I don’t like using it. It is associated with other blogs I run, but none that I care about as much as this one.

I wish people realized they could moderate comments if they don’t want to get spam or bad comments. I moderate. And I’m not even on blogger. I guess I need to get a blogger account, that I can somehow associate with this blog, so I can leave comments at people’s blogs. What do you do if you do not have a blogger account and want to leave a comment? And how do you associate a non-blogger blog with a blogger account? Guess I need to go figure that out.

Update: I figured it out, and now I have it working right. You have to put your blog in the “my website” field, and then they can click on that.

It does drive me crazy! My blogger name is under my legal name, and I usually blog-hop under my published name.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my blog! I LOVE finding new blogs to read! And not being able to comment on half of them irritates me, too. And it alwatys seems to happen when I really have something to say,… which, to the chagrin of my hubby and children, seems to be most of the time! ::hugs::

  4. The number of times I’ve been blogging using Blogmad or Blog Explosion, tried to post a comment and couldn’t for various reasons irritates the hell out of me. Sometimes tho’ it’s the browser.

Nicole, thanks for your encouraging words on my photo blog. Meant a lot, and with any luck I’ll be able to leave a comment here ;)

I’m not a fan of that on blogger either. I also don’t like how I have to type in a code everytime I want to leave a comment there. It irks me.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by my feast today, please visit again soon!

lol you goof ball. I can read your blog with or WITHOUT a blogger account. I’ve been doing it for how long now? hehehe AND if I HAD to open a blogger account to read it, you can damn well bet I would, because you rock!

I did suck it up, thank you very much, and I did add this blog to my “website” on blogger. It still annoys me, as I have two blogs over there that are ANCIENT and until yesterday, did not realize I could hide them. Ah, the wonderful Internet and what you can and can’t do. Regardless, I won’t have the problem anymore :D

On my site you can be whoever you want. My brother always uses annoymous, But I can always tell it’s him by all the miss spellings. (which I do also). But, other than that I kind of like to know where they came from so I can go visit there blog. If you come by and your not signed in just leave your blog addy for me. You visited me for the first time that I know of today. Just wanted you to know, I am loving your site. Very Cool!
