It’s Official!

I finally heard a definitive answer on the job I have been waiting for. It is not the dream job, that one will take me eight weeks to find out about. It was this one.

I am just very happy because it sounds as if our benefits and compensation package are exactly what I was wanting at the start, and it will take very little extra time per week to accomplish.

I guess that is the glory of having a freelance writing job. The ability to write whenever, wherever you want. Now that I have the laptop, I go almost anywhere with it. In fact, we even plug it in the car and listen to music occasionally. LOL

Anyway, I’m really happy about the job and am looking forward to getting started. Apparently they have pushed the launch date back a few weeks, as originally it was May 1, 2007.

I cannot reveal too much about it yet, but once it goes live, you can bet I’ll let others know.

Oh, and my odd topic to write about? Couponing. Good thing, this frugal gal, knows a few things about it!

Of course, I should probably not admit, that at this point, I have two freelance clients I work for on a semi-regular basis. One that I only work for occasionally or when he needs copy for something. And then I have families.com, an International trade magazine that is only four times per year, and now this one. Could my plate be any fuller? Oh yeah, it can be – I still want this job! LOL

When will I ever get the last few chapters of my book written? I know it is there, I just have to find the time. Maybe after I finish this one last article…..
