Brielle is tiny. Period. Most people think she is our youngest. One of the horses she rides is a lazy guy. Her legs are not strong enough to get him to really move without a crop.
So today’s goal was to attempt to ride him into a canter without a crop. A first for her. And she did it.
She got that slow poke of a horse that she has never been able to move much ithout an unbelievably strong tap of the crop – cantering. It was a beautiful sight. Now she’s jumping cross rails and enjoying her lesson. It’s almost over and then we get to go home. We’re back again on Monday and I am happy about that. I’ll check back later.
