About Me

Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm a freelance writer, scrapbooker, paper crafter and mom of five. I am also a Close to My Heart consultant. I spend the majority of my time in my scrapbooking area (I refer to it as my studio) creating scrapbook layouts, cards and other paper projects (well - and eeking out a living on my laptop).

All content (including text, photographs and design work) are © Nicole Humphrey. In addition, many of the stamp images, papers and other materials used are © Close to My Heart.

Sunday, August 26th, 2007

I’m sad. Well, really not actually.

Today’s Challenge:
Do you feel more creative in the morning or evenings?

Private Classes

Saturday, August 11th, 2007

Today’s Challenge: If you could have one private class with someone famous who would it be and why?
That’s easy. It would most likely be Becky Higgins, just because she has that simple yet stylish look on all her layouts. I love them. She would be my pick for layout creations. Of course, I’m a journaling nut, [...]

My Dream Camera Quest

Friday, August 10th, 2007

I am in the market for a new camera. Why? Just because I love photography so much that I want a digital SLR really, really bad. The extension of lenses and filters and so many new creative techniques to be had in digital photography has left me desperately dreaming of a brand new camera.
I do [...]

Today’s challenge: How often do you try to clear pictures off your comptuer to a storage file? That could be either cd,memory stick or another form.
I have several methods of storing my photos, and I feel like I blogged about  this once before. But I have this nifty little Western Digital drive called a My Book. [...]
