About Me

Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm a freelance writer, scrapbooker, paper crafter and mom of five. I am also a Close to My Heart consultant. I spend the majority of my time in my scrapbooking area (I refer to it as my studio) creating scrapbook layouts, cards and other paper projects (well - and eeking out a living on my laptop).

All content (including text, photographs and design work) are © Nicole Humphrey. In addition, many of the stamp images, papers and other materials used are © Close to My Heart.

After attending the funeral of my friends father, I started to get all sentimental about all the people I have lost. My great grandmother, who’s memory mostly unfortunately comes solely from other people talking about her and lots of pictures is one of those people.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve known that I was obviously [...]

Cup of Sorrow…

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Today is going to be a hard day. My bff (since high school) called me the other day and told me that her father passed away the night before. While it was pretty much expected, for whatever reason it rendered me speechless. I can actually remember making the same call to her our senior year [...]

Missing in Action

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Life happened. As it usually seems to. I am so sorry I disappeared. I started a new writing project, with a new company and kind of just devoted all my time to it (thinking there was a place for advancement, and there simply isn’t yet). I need to figure out time management - ya know?
Here [...]
