Here are the rules: All you have to do is Google your first name with the word needs behind it and post the results. I typed in “Nicole needs,” and here are 15 of the 11,300 results:

1. Nicole needs a stylist (how ironic that this is #1 - lol yeah I really actually do)
2. Nicole needs school (hmm… and I’ve been thinking about going back!)
3. Nicole Needs No Food when she can Shop Till She Drops (ha! I’m a total foodie and could not possibly shop without it!)
4. Nicole needs money (well duh!)
5. Nicole needs a reality show (what in the world would it be about? blended families or an insane supply hoarding scrapbooker!)
6. Nicole needs an urban love nest (this had to do with Keith and I’m all over his Urban love nest - yikes, what would Mike think?)
7. Nicole needs photoshop (not really)
8. Nicole needs to drink the water and eat a burger (uhm…okay, I love burgers)
9. Nicole needs Trevor’s job (Well, that would all depend on exactly what Trevor’s job is!)
10. Nicole needs to take a pill (I’ve totally heard that one before)
11. Nicole needs help (don’t we all?)
12. Nicole needs a patient family (Yes, yes I do.)
13. Nicole needs a new page (with all the websites I have, the LAST thing I need is a new page)
14. Nicole needs a monogram (for what?)
15. Nicole needs some satisfaction (amen!)

Well, wasn’t that entertaining!

Today’s 2 peas blog challenge is: Share a picture of an organizational item you have in any room of your house that you absolutely love.

I thought, well I can do that. I have a load of things that are working well for me and that I truly enjoy in my personal scrap space.

My ink pad storage is an obviously borrowed piece. This former tape cassette holder (among its three brothers that are just not pictured) has been a wonderful addition to my scrap area.

It’s now totally full and I have three others. They have been painted all white, but I am eyeing some new ones that are about to be released from CTMH so I might be retiring these guys and trying to find another use. Hmm…

So what’s your favorite storage item that you have?

Today as the day that we finally get Uverse installed. We’ve been without cable/DirectTV/etc. since later Winter and it has been seriously agonizing.

As I type this, Matt, my U-verse guy is running all over my house like mad installing and unpacking all sorts of goodies. Ahhh….I cannot wait to have the luxury of sitting back in my bed tonight and enjoying a quiet night of television after the kids are in bed. (Mike works nights so this is great!)

Well, off to go track Matt down and see if he needs anymore furniture moved.

Well, the three little rugrats arrived home earlier today. Actually I had to make the long trek up there to get them. I’m so happy they are home. Apparently, and this part just sucks - they seriously did not enjoy it and don’t want to ever go back. Hmmm….

First, I should mention it was a church camp, and it is NOT a denomination that we are. I knew already that could be a problem and I had spoken to the kids before that to get them ready for that possibility.

However, apparently - they all three asked to call home several times (they are allowed) and never once were actually able to. They always had an excuse.

The big kicker? They had three story high bunk beds for them to sleep in. Okay fine. BUT - there was only a rail on ONE side of each bunk bed and there was no ladder. My daughter fell out of the top bunk (three high) and landed on her back. Did anyone call me? No. Did she see the nurse on site? No. They picked her up (uhm….excuse me?) and cradled her, rocking her while she was crying. Then they put her to bed - RIGHT BACK UP ON THE TOP OF THAT THIRD BUNK BED! We stopped at the pediatrician on the way back today to get her checked out. He felt she was fine, and only had a brief muscle spasm while he was checking her out. Nothing to be alarmed about and that’s a good thing since she’s a horseback rider and that could have just been so much worse!

I’m so completely frustrated and disgusted, I’m almost happy they didn’t have a good time because I could not in good conscience send them back there ever again.

Tomorrow my kiddos come home from camp and I am so excited to see them. This was the younger ones this time that went, the three of them. I miss them so much. I was supposed to live up my time with them being gone and instead we wound up spending the past few days emptying out our storage unit (which I was happy to do because I am irritated that we have been paying that bill all these months!) It just didn’t prove to be as much of a break as I had intended because seeing all these things just reminded me of them.

On a good note, I found an entire box of various scrap things that had been inadvertently packed up and apparently stored. Most if it is old stuff I didn’t want or need anyway, but there were a few idea books in there that it was nice to see again.

So we ended our last night away with a nice dinner out just my two oldest and I (Mike was at work). Oh wait, my two oldest and I and well, my ex husband joined us so he could spend some time with my son. He is in town for work, so he tagged along and I have to say it was a rather interesting and fun evening.

Which is rare.

We aren’t complaining.

We all enjoyed ourselves and now we’re home and I am so ready to crash. So tomorrow my lil ones will be in a van on their way home and I am afraid I won’t sleep a wink between worrying about them and just being generally excited to have them back home. The two youngest are back in school already so they got this time off to go to camp. The middle girl is going into middle school this year, so we have some preparing to do. It will be nice to have them home.

Well, I’m off to sleep land. I can barely keep my eyes open.

‘Random Tag’ rules:
4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them
5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up

Here are 6 random things about me:

1) I was born in Texas, raised in Missouri.
2) I’d really like to move to a small town and live on a farm/ranch.
3) I’ve visited all 50 states at some point in my lifetime although a few were simply drive-thrus. LOL
4) My favorite place in the world is our barn. Well, not my barn but where my daughter rides. It’s in the middle of nowhere, quiet, peaceful and God’s creatures are so incredibly beautiful to watch. Plus, oddly I like the smell of the barn.
5) Speaking of smells, I cannot smell a skunk. I have no idea what one smells like and yes I have apparently been around some pretty strong skunk smells, but nothing has ever smelled like anything to me. Weird, but apparently not unheard of. 1/1000 cannot smell skunks. Well we always knew I marched to the beat of my own drum - eh mom?
6) If I had the money and the space, I’d own every animal imagineable. I love animals, pets and the exotic ones get me everytime.

Whew! That was fun. Now get to thinkin’ and make your list and share it with me if you like.

Thanks Jane, for tagging me! (I had about six more I could have done but picked these instead)

What in the world is going on with me? I hate to call it a scrapbooking rut, but I just am never motivated anymore to do any scrapbooking. What the heck is up? I know I will be back in the game soon, after all it is my business, but yeesh.

I’ve been trying to complete some more organizing to get me more motivated again - that usually works. I’m still trying to get there. I know it would help to get some recent photos printed, so that is on my list of things to do.

In the meantime - this is the newest addition to our already totally full household. We’re crazy, I know.

Hey, maybe it’s a new scrap subject? Yeah - getting pics of him/her is kinda hard. LOL

Anyway, I have a few projects to show off, and I will do so later on.

After attending the funeral of my friends father, I started to get all sentimental about all the people I have lost. My great grandmother, who’s memory mostly unfortunately comes solely from other people talking about her and lots of pictures is one of those people.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve known that I was obviously quite close to her. I do remember seeing her in the hospital once or twice, and I remember knowing she was gone. When my daughter was born, I wanted to incorporate my great grandmothers name in there somewhere, and so one of my daughter’s middle names is from her.

I wanted to detail this memory for my daughter on a sb page and so I was playing around and decided to make some paper flowers. For some reason I think of flowers when I think of her. She wore them a alot. Lots of pictures I have of her she has a corsage on her.

These are the paper flowers:
